I contacted Shival at Tower Advantage on behalf of a client that owns a tower site. The tower tenant had contacted my client with a proposal to reduce the rent and grant additional option terms. My client was not inclined to accept the proposal, but was concerned about the potential exercise of the tenant’s termination rights if he did not acquiesce.
Without significant experience in this field, I was not able to advise my client as to whether the proposal was fair or whether the implied threat of termination was a bluff. Shival promptly reviewed the lease proposal and was able to confirm my client’s instincts were right.
